Stash Tea – Earl Grey

A wonderful yet non-typical Earl Grey. The bergamot oil is really the forefront of this tea’s aroma as well as flavor. A very mild, neat black tea, the bergamot adds a ton of tropical citrus flavor. This isn’t the usual mild orange oil you find in typical Earl Grey teas. It’s a tangerine and mild coconut bouquet of flavor.

While I usually recommend a mild pipe blend with latakia or orientals, this is not the Earl Grey you’re used to. Enjoy Stash Tea’s Earl Grey with a light virginia or virginia burley blend like Dunhill [Light] Flake or Luxury Twist Flake from Peter Stokkebye. The lemongrass notes of [Light] Flake will leave you with an enjoyable citrusy flavor while the buttery, vanilla-hazelnut notes of  Lux. Twist Flake will amplify the sweet coconut vanilla tastes.
